Our Location
Shore Haven Yacht Club, Inc. is a cooperative marina located on the north branch of the Beaver Dam Creek, a tributary of the Barnegat Bay, in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Sheltered waters of the Beaver Dam Creek allow easy access to the Barnegat Bay and Intracoastal Waterway — perfect for fishing, cruising, and exploring the Jersey Shore.
As a cooperative, our marina is owned and maintained by our members. Every member has a voice in how the club is run, and the spirit of shared stewardship is what makes Shore Haven special.
Wet Slips
Shore Haven offers well-maintained slips in the calm, protected waters of the Beaver Dam Creek. Slip features include:
- Shore power connections (single 30 amp and dual 30 amp service available)
- Fresh water hookups
- Complimentary marina-wide Wi-Fi
- 24/7 security with CCTV monitoring
Slips are allocated on a seasonal basis (April 1 – November 1). As a cooperative, marina owned slip availability is managed by the dock master — contact the marina office to inquire about current openings and the waiting list.
Dockside Pump-Out
Shore Haven is equipped with a dockside pump-out system for the convenience of all slip holders. Keeping our waterways clean is a shared responsibility, and the pump-out system is available 24/7 at no additional charge to members.
We encourage all boaters to use the pump-out system and help preserve the health of the Beaver Dam Creek and Barnegat Bay.
Amenities
Our waterfront areas are the social heart of Shore Haven. Members and their guests enjoy:
- An olympic size pool with lounge chairs and patio tables for groups to gather
- Outdoor patios with seating and natural gas BBQ grills
- Clean, well-maintained restrooms and showers
- Ample parking
- Boat ramp for launching jet skis, small boats, and dinghies
Cooperative Membership
As a member-owned cooperative, Shore Haven Yacht Club, Inc. operates differently from a commercial marina. Each member has an ownership stake in the club and participates in its governance:
- Opportunity to serve on the board of directors and committees
- Shared responsibility for marina upkeep through volunteer work days
